Reprint Policy and Ordering

Since RMP has no page charges, authors do not receive free reprints. The journal does, however, sell copies of each of its articles as a service to the physics community. We have been doing so since 1974. Each review article is softbound in a cover similar to the journal's. Colloquia are without covers. Reprint orders must be prepaid, either by check or by credit card.

Telephone Orders. Have a credit card ready. Call Subscriber Services at the American Institute of Physics, 1-800-344-6902 and specify that you want to place a reprint order (they also handle subscriptions).

Fax Orders. Download the order form, fill it out, and fax it to APS Subscriber Services, c/o American Institute of Physics, (516) 349-9704.

Regular Mail Orders. Download the order form, fill it in, and send with check or money order to:

Checks from outside the U.S. must be in U.S. funds drawn on a bank in the United States.

Orders by Authors for their own Reprints. Authors of RMP articles receive a discounted rate on orders for their own articles, if the order is received before publication. They should send a Reprint Order Form for Authors to the above address.
